In 2017, Shane was appointed as an Adjunct Professor at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) where he also completed his PhD in Planning on “Quantifying the Rezoning Effect”. He has been a regular lecturer at the School of Civil Engineering at the University of Sydney for the past nine years and is also a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Law at the University of New South Wales.
